Sugaring underway

All the buckets went up yesterday, the taps are all set. I put them up the traditional starting day - the day after Town Meeting day. Today was real warm so the sap ran like a faucet. I'm planning on boiling this weekend, and hopefully by Sunday night we'll have a whole bunch of fresh Maple Syrup aka, the only food better than Pizza.

Hit up Jay Peak last weekend and Mad River Glen the weekend before that. Absolutely incredible skiing. Those are the two best ski areas in Vermont - the terrain is just awesome on all fronts. Also, I finished my 18th section of the Catamount Trail - I'm nearly 2/3's the way through the skiing the length of Vermont.
