Finished 4 Winter Catskills required for Catskill 35 Club

Some deep snow atop Balsam Mountain in the Catskills yesterday. Fortunately no where near as cold as Saturday. Afterwards Renee and I went to the Phoenicia Diner, which was mad good. We have now completed the required 4 winter peaks for the Catskill 35 Club: Balsam, Blackhead, Slide and Panther. We plan to work on finishing the remaining peaks in the spring. Not too many left to complete!! Snowmobiled all around Killington and Mendon on Saturday. There were some views in the Vermont Mountains where you could like see the rings on Saturn they were so spectacular. Getting tons of snow today, almost a foot so far. Let's hope for 7 more!!
