71

71 ski days this year so far. That's an all-time record. The most days I had ever skied before was 64. This winter has been like a snowglobe in a paintmixer.
Renee and I snowmobiled pretty much all 58 miles of snowmobile trails in Groton State Forest that are part of the Groton VAST snowmobile club. The conditions were incredible.
Last weekend, went to Mad River and snowmobiled nearly 100 miles from Northfield VT to Huntington VT and tons of places in between. There was a snow measuring stake on one of the mountain passes that read just under FIVE FEET!! If the trails didn't have to close April 15th, I swear you could snowmobile and ski in Vermont well into May!

I put my glove down for perspective on the side of the VAST trail. Look how much snow the groomer packed down to form the base of the trail. The natural snow depth is ridiculously deep!! The snowmobile trails are better than Vermont roads! The riding was absolutely awesome.
Riding near the base of Camels Hump, late March 2014.
