DANIELLE AND SPENCER'S WEDDING BLOG: ALL WOMAN, ALL THE TIME. LOTS OF MAN. NO PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENTS HERE- WE DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY ANYWAY.

Ok, this is a big update, lots of photos. Naughty photos. Mmmmm.

Last week I gave Danielle her secret wedding present. She had been pleading with me for weeks to tell her, but I kept my mouth shut which was unbelievably hard because I tell her everything. So, to keep this secret a surprise was almost impossible but I pulled it off -barely.

Last week our band My Revenge had our 2nd to last show in Burlington. For many months I've been planning on doing something special for Danielle in relation to the wedding, but I wasn't exactly sure what form that would take.

I wanted to sing her a song, kind of like that amazing song Ryan sang Kate at their wedding. But (a) My voice sounds like a Polar Bear flopping onto a fragmented glacier and (b) It's not my style to sing a lovey-dovey song on a harpsichord of some mess like that. So, being the true punk rocker I am, I opted to sing her a RAMONES song, entitled "Oh, Oh I love her so."

I got our band to learn the song (which was like trying to get George Bush to make good decisions) and we were ready to play it for her. The show went really well, it was a solid turnout and kids were way into it. As the last song of our set I announced that I was going to do this special song for Danielle and we quickly went into it. Well, to make a long story short, THE COPS showed up and shut the show down in the middle of my song to her!! So bad!! I was very very bummed out about this.

After the show, I called like 400000 places to see if there was anywhere we could set up to finish the song properly for her. Finally, I found a spot that would allow us to do it. The members of My Revenge scrambled hard and got all our gear up on the third floor of this building being renovated where I used to work. We set up and Danielle came up. We got to play the entire Ramones song and I got to sing it to her in its entirety.

She was super psyched and it went off perfectly in the end. So there you have it: "Oh Oh, I love her so."

TWISTED SISTER

This was amazing.
Danielle and I went on a "pre-honeymoon" meaning, we found out about this concert called "Rocklahoma." Rockahoma was this huge concert in Oklahoma in July with awesome bands like: Poison, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Winger, Dokken, Vince Neil, LA Guns, and TWISTED SISTER.

Danielle loves Poison and Twisted Sister are my all-time favorite heavy metal band - Even more than Black Sabbath. The absolute very first recorded music I ever remember hearing in my life was Twisted Sister when I was like 6 or something. So when I found out they were playing I was elated.

To make a much longer story short, Danielle and I drove 27 hours out to Oklahoma. Before Twisted Sister's set, we made this huge banner/sign for the band to see and hopefully hold up. It read: "SMF's from Vermont on honeymoon to see Twisted Sister." We made it right to the very front of the stage. We were right at the stage, I think because the security knew we were on our pre-honeymoon to see Twisted Sister and graciously allowed us to move up.

The band went on and halfway through we triumphantly held up our sign. At first the band didn't see it, but then they caught a glimpse as to what our sign said and meant. Then the guitar player came over and held up our sign - then Dee Snider from Twisted Sister came over with him and together they held up our sign in front of 35,000 people!!!!! (See the photo above) They congratulated us on stage and gave us guitar picks. Then, Vh1 who was there documenting the concert, zoomed in on our sign and then panned over and zoomed in on Danielle and I! So we're going to be on Vh1 at some point it looks like! Amazing! Incredible! It was one of the best nights of our entire lives. Oh man, that show was so good.

This past weekend, instead of going to some nasty disrespectful inane strip club for my bachelor party, Danielle and I went with some friends to SIX FLAGS, which ruled hard. So much fun. Check out the photo above of the Batman coaster. (Sorry it's so small, still getting used to the scanner) How awesome does the blond haired kids' face look behind us? Priceless. Gives you an idea of how exciting the roller coaster was. I want to build that same roller coaster in our basement. We rode on every single roller coaster that was open that day. Now that's my idea of a bachelor party.

Thanks for reading,

Sloppy wet kisses,
Danielle and Spencer.
